We are proud to announce that Sensei Wesley Dyssel & Boipelo Sebole has successfully qualified to represent South Africa at the 8th WGKF World Goju-Ryu Championships taking place in Pune, India from 02 to 12 Oct 2026. Given that this is a Goju-Ryu event, they have both made selection for Kumite since they follow WKF rules
Boipelo Sebole is a dedicated and hardworking young karateka who has shown exceptional commitment and skill in karate. She has produced fantastic results in her Kumite category (Female -53kg) over the last 3 major events: – South African National Championships = GOLD – WKF Karate 1 Youth League in Harare, Zimbabwe = BRONZE – UFAK
During our Japan tour, the team attempted Dan Grading in Oita City, Japan under André Bertel Sensei. Grading took place over 2 intense sessions on Sunday 19 Apr 2026.
